The question
What would AI assistance look like if it started with the part you're working on? CoForge is my project exploring that question for mechanical engineering.
The approach
The project connects to Onshape work, brings in a STEP model, and prepares geometry for review. The documented workflow requires reviewed geometry before downstream manufacturability and CAM work—and invalidates that review when the geometry changes.
Where it stands
This is a project in development, not a proven productivity result. The engineer remains responsible for checking the model and recommendations. I'm interested in making assistance useful inside the workflow of designing and building.
